Musician's Earplugs are offered in three levels of attenuation (9dB, 15 dB or 25 dB). They are designed for performance musicians, concert attendees or for general usage by anyone who wants to maximize hearing in the presence of noise without sacrificing fidelity.
Traditional earplugs reduce the higher frequency sounds considerably more than the low frequency sounds. Users of traditional plugs describe their sound quality as being dull and lifeless.
The musician's plugs reduce all sounds equally, resulting in a reduction of volume while maintaining a high fidelity signal. The volume simply appears to be reduced without the user having that "plugged" feeling. These earplugs will accommodate any of the filter sets (filters simply snap into or out of the plugs) so that your preferred level of listening comfort can be attained. The filters are sold separately so that you can design plugs that are appropriate for any listening situation that you might encounter.
Musician?s plugs are made of medical grade silicone that require little maintenance or cleaning.
Earplugs for Water Protection
Prescribed by physicians for use in bathing, showering or swimming, these earplugs are recommended whenever an outer or middle ear medical condition (external ear infection, perforated eardrum, ventilation tubes, etc.). The plugs prevent water from entering the ear. Custom designed earplugs are available in a variety of solid colors as well as swirl colors and are made of a medical grade silicone material.
